Planning for the Fourth of July in Mingus June 07, 2022
The City of Coos Bay is reviving the Fourth of July celebration this year. While this event has not been able to happen for the past two years, Coos Bay Public Library and Coos Bay Fire Department are working together to rekindle the celebration in Mingus Park.
The event will be held on Monday, July 4, 2022, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Planning for this event is underway. The goal is to bring the community together for a fun-filled family friendly event. The event will feature the Boy Scouts’ fundraiser hamburger stand, Coos County Posse and their horses, Coos Forest Protective Association with Smokey the Bear, ODF&W fishing, Front Street Community Bike Works, and many others.

The Coos Bay Fire Department will be resuming their annual Fourth of July fireworks display on the water front! Come join us at dusk to enjoy the show on the Fourth!
