What a Library Card Do For You June 23, 2022

Each month, the Coos Bay Public Library issues approximately 110 new library cards. This card opens worlds of possibilities for people. It allows people to download movies, eBooks, audio books, and even music. The library card also gives access to hundreds of thousands of physical materials such as DVDs, books on CD, large print books, regular print books, and much more. In addition, there are database resources such as Morning Star, A-Z World Foods, MyHeritage available with your library card.

Coos Bay Public Library works in cooperation with the other seven public libraries, Southwestern Oregon Community College Library, and all five public libraries in Curry County to provide patrons with their book (and more) needs.

To apply for a library card stop by the Library with your picture ID and proof of mailing address. For more information, call 541-269-1101.
