Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Fire Department.

Supports the Finance Department as lead cashier as well as responsible for capital assets for the city.

Performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks related to the creation and tracking of contract documents as well as processing invoices for contract work. Performs a variety of secretarial tasks related to engineering and operations implementation work. Composes, transcribes, edits, and types correspondence, monthly reports, and special projects; takes minutes at hearings and meetings.

Serves as the Chief Administrator of the Police Department and is responsible for policy development, control, supervision, and program implementation of this Department and is accountable for the effective delivery of police services to the community.

Supports the Finance Department and responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable functions for the city. 

Enforces Coos Bay Municipal Code.

As the appointed chief executive officer of the city, responsible for implementing and carrying out the directives and policies of the city council, as well as the supervision of the day-to-day operations of all city departments and staff. Also serves as the agency manager for the city’s urban renewal agency.

Supports the Public Works and Community Development Department.

Supervises Public Works operations.

Supports Community Development by ensuring compliance with the City's land use policies and ordinances.

Responsible for administration of the Operations Division within Public Works & Community Development.

Supports the Public Works and Community Development Department.

Responsible for administration of land use permitting and long range land use planning.

Performs plan review for building permits and conducts building construction inspections.

Responsible for administration of the Building Codes Division and acts as City's Fire Marshal. Duties include performing plan review for building permits, conducting inspections, posting sub-standard and dangerous structures, doing business safety inspections and oversight of Codes Enforcement.

Responsible for the administration of City GIS Services Division.

Provides legal advice and support to City departments, staff and to City Council on a limited and as-needed basis.

Manages environmental issues for city projects.

Finance Director

Supports the Public Works and Community Development Department.

Responsible for all Library functions and staff.

Responsible for assisting with Engineering Services and permits.

Assists the City Manager with general oversight of the management team, preparation of annual budget, preparation of Council and URA Board agenda packets and meeting management, support of HR functions, oversees election process, and acts as City Recorder. 

Supports the Public Works and Community Development Department.

Supports the Finance Department, specializing in payroll and benefits.

Oversees maintenance and upgrades of the City’s wastewater treatment plants.

Responsible for assisting with Engineering Services.

Provides benefit administration to all staff members and support to City Administration and Council.

Responsible for supervision of Operations Division, Engineering Services and Water Quality Division.
