Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Fire Department.

Lead cashier for the Finance Department and responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable functions for the City. Also maintains billings for Moorage at the City Docks.

The primary function of the Finance Department is to serve the needs of the various city departments. This includes budget information, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashiering, personnel, city records, and city elections. Susanne over sees all of these functions and supervises all department staff.

Performs support services to assist the Community Development Department.

Oversees the Police Department Operations Division.

Supports the Public Works and Community Development Departments.

As the appointed chief executive officer of the city, responsible for implementing and carrying out the directives and policies of the city council, as well as the supervision of the day-to-day operations of all city departments and staff. Also serves as the agency manager for the city’s urban renewal agency.

Supports the Public Works and Community Development Departments.

As Community Development Director, oversees the Planning, Building, Code Enforcement and Economic Development Departments.

Responsible for administration of the Operations Division within Public Works & Development.

Responsible for administering the Development Code and managing the development review process for the Public Works and Community Development Department.

Supervises Public Works operations.

Supports Community Development by ensuring compliance with the City's land use policies and ordinances.

Works with the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director on General Ledger entry and maintenance for the City.  Also maintains the Fixed Assets database, is second cashier and backs up Payroll, Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.

Provides legal advice and support to City departments, staff and to City Council on a limited and as-needed basis.

Serves as the Chief Administrator of the Police Department and is responsible for policy development, control, supervision, and program implementation of this Department and is accountable for the effective delivery of police services to the community.

Responsible for the administration of GIS Services, which provides geographic information system resources to all City Departments.

Responsible for all Library functions and staff.

Responsible for enforcing the Coos Bay Municipal Code.

Supports the Finance Department, specializing in payroll and benefits.

Responsible for administration of the Building Codes Division. Duties include performing plan review for building permits, conducting inspections, posting sub-standard and dangerous structures, and doing business safety inspections.

Responsible for coordination of day to day activites within Engineering Services.

Responsible for assisting with Engineering Services.
