New Dispatcher Joins North Coos 9-1-1 Center June 02, 2022
On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, the Coos Bay Police Department, along the Coos Bay Fire Department and North Bend Fire Department, welcomed a new 9-1-1 Dispatcher to the team. Kayli Porter was welcomed to the agency by Police Chief Chapanar.
Porter moved to the community near the beginning of the year from Washington, where she had graduated high school and attended Washington State University. Porter earned a bachelor’s degree in strategic communications. After college, Porter worked for the Clark County Sheriff’s Office as a Sheriff Support Specialist
