Festival of Sail Prepares to Drop Anchor May 24, 2017
Five tall ships will visit our Bay next week from June 1 - 4, 2017. Ships in attendance will include Schooner Freda B, Hawaiian Chieftain, Lady Washington, Dirigo II, and the Bill of Rights. Along with the ships will be what has been called The World's Largest Rubber Duck, which is reportedly more than 60 feet tall, 50 feet in diameter, and weighs in the neighborhood of 23,000 pounds. Visitors will be able to tour the ships and have a chance to sail with one of them around the bay during the festival.
