LaPraim Retires After Years of Service
Julie LaPraim, Public Works Administrative Clerk, retired from the City of Coos Bay on May 31, 2017. LaPraim began serving the citizens of Coos Bay as a Parking Control Officer in September 1988. LaPraim held several positions during her nearly 29 years with the City. She spent most of her time as a maintenance worker involved with the maintenance and safety of City streets. As a maintenance II worker, LaPraim swept streets, installed traffic markings, and replaced regulatory signs as directed. LaPraim later applied for Public Works Administrative Clerk, which was the position she held until she retired. The City truly appreciates LaPraim's many years of loyal service to the community and wish her well during her retirement.
