Structural Concrete Pouring at Wastewater Treatment Plant November 15, 2017
As many of you are aware, the Wastewater Treatment Plant No 2 Construction is in full swing. To date over 4,000 cubic yards of concrete have been poured, which equates to approximately 400 concrete truck deliveries. The structural concrete that is supplied for this project has a mix design that has a strength of 5,000 psi, where most commercial concrete supplied is a 3,500 psi. However, due to this being a specialized construction project the structural engineer specified a mixture with enhanced strength. Below are some pictures from the beginning to now.
