Replacing the Public Sanitary Sewer System December 13, 2017
The City will be replacing the public sanitary sewer system, located at the northern portions of Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Avenue in Eastside. Most of the project consists of installing a cured-in-place pipe liner of approximately 690 feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer, along with the removal and replacement of approximately 74 feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer. The contractor performing the work is Johnson Rock Products, Inc.
The construction is scheduled to commence the week of December 18 and anticipated to be complete by the end of January, weather permitting. Construction hours will occur from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The City and the Contractor will work to minimize disturbances to residents and we would like to request that you take caution when driving around the construction site, the contractors, and the equipment.
