Officer Volin Accepts Position in Corvallis August 15, 2017

Officer Ty Volin recently announced that he has accepted a position with the City of Corvallis as a Police Officer. Volin began his career with the Coos Bay Police Department as a Reserve Police Officer in 2011 and was hired as a full-time officer in October 2012. While employed with the Police Department, Volin held positions in the Patrol Division, as well as assignments to the Traffic Crash Investigation Team, Crime Prevention Team, and Moderator of the DUII Victims Impact Panel.

Volin, his wife Danielle, and their daughter Jozlynn will be missed at the Coos Bay Police Department and in their community. Being active in many areas and local interests, including Marshfield High School where Volin worked as the Assistant Football Coach. The move to the Corvallis area will be beneficial to the Volin’s as this is where the majority of Mrs. Volin’s business customers are located.
