Kozy Kitchen Closes
A popular local eatery, the Kozy Kitchen located at 581 Bayshore Drive in Coos Bay, closed its doors on June 26 after more than 10 years at that location. Kozy Kitchen in Coos Bay, along with two other restaurants in Myrtle Point and North Bend, is a favorite for many in the area due to its offerings of homemade fare (and that endless array of pies and desserts) and for the local ownership committed to serving those in the region. The building had previously been home to other restaurants including Sambo’s, Little Richard’s, and Bradley’s, but none had the staying power and familiarity of Kozy Kitchen.
