A Sweet New Business Venture July 19, 2017
On July 3, Coos Bay’s newest downtown business opened along North Broadway in the historic Koski building (also known as the Tioga). Peggy Howard of Riverside, California and Renee Rhodes of Vancouver, Washington have created a joint venture to serve an assortment of sweet cravings for Coos Bay residents and visitors alike. The enjoyable offerings of Sweet Street Popcorn include fresh popcorn, snow cones, caramel apples, and assorted candies, and gift accessories. Anyone entering the premises will be sure to leave knowing their wisdom teeth have guided them to a place to satisfy their sweet tooth.
Both semi-retired, Howard and Rhodes have moved to Coos Bay recently, mentioning how nice and kind the people of the area have been. We wish them both success with their realization of starting a small business and an easy transition as they integrate into the community to share the little delights of life.
